Bollo is a bull shark that was created by the Evo-Tech facility. Because of Bollo's timid and gentle nature he was considered defective and was going to be termenated. But during the struggle

Bollo suffers from a split personality disorder. Normally he is a very docile and shy shark man, but uder some circumstances, he can change into a ferocious tempermental and very hungry shark man. Like most sharks one of things that triggers their ferocity is the smell of blood. In Bollo's case the duration of this occurence usually depends on how much blood he happens to smell.

A very strange quirk about Bollo is his particular desire to eat Cheeko D. Everytime he sees Cheeko, he often pursues Cheeko in an attempt to eat him. Fortunately, for Cheeko, Bollo is pretty easy to fool in this state and can usually avoid being eaten or escape long enough for Bollo to give-up.

Despite Bollo's tall and lanky build he is actually fairly strong, and his strength can rival some of the more physically powerful heroes and villains of Neostar. Because Bollo was made with the DNA of both a bull shark and a merman Bollo is an especially powerful swimmer and can fire a sonic blast from his mouth. Bollo also has especially powerful jaws and teeth that can eat through virtually anything.

Bollo has worked with and met the Neostars on quite a few occasions. At one point he had helped Shonnie and co. rescue Princess Mia as well as fend off a horde of swamp zombies. Sometime later Bollo along with a group of mermen were captured by a crew of cyborg pirates, but was rescued by Prince Reef who had showed up to save his captured people. Since the rescue Bollo has followed along with Reef, who now looks after Bollo like a younger sibling(so to speak) and educates him on both surface and undersea life.

Even though Bollo is quite strong and capable of holding his own, he is quite timid and fearful of nearly everything around him. Often times Bollo would rather flee or hide than engage in combat. Despite his cowardly nature, he would never abandon someone in need. After seeing Reef's bravery and nobility in action, he became inspired to try and be a braver person.
